“Wonderful hostel with wonderful folks”

Not everything about my stay at Snoozles was perfect, but they were so gracious about helping us out in the midst of a pandemic that I wouldn’t think of giving them any less than five stars. The bad: Bathroom lacked a working soap dispenser or hand towels Toilets took a few minutes to refill after flushing and were noisy the entire time Tiny shower room; hard to change clothes or even turn around Kitchen and lounge closed at 11 pm, so you could get locked out with food you wanted to put in the fridge WiFi was only usable inside the lounge, not the kitchen or the dorms Toaster is unplugged outside breakfast hours Didn’t get a tour so it took me three days to find the kitchen paper towels The good: Nice lounge, if a bit small. Netflix on the TV, guitars, comfy vinyl seats WONDERFUL staff who went above and beyond to make sure I got home safe Clean rooms and bathrooms Safe facilities with a night guard; keyed entry to most doors Great price Excellent location on Quay St. Plenty to walk to, including the beach, the piers, Salthill, and even the woods if you brought your hiking boots Open and honest about any changes or problems that might come up during your stay

Very friendly like most hostels, the building appears to have been an up/middle market hotel in and earlier life, room sizes are up to four X two tiered bunks with all ensuite facilities, clean and well maintained, breakfast lounge plenty big enough for a full house of guests. the emergency was that my wallet was stolen on my last night and not only the staff but other guests (one handed me 20(= at reception after overhearing my report to the desk) were very kind and helpful; the people of Galway were also brilliant; the man at the bus depot let me on the bus to Dublin without my (stolen) ticket. My wallet was recovered with 125(= missing, everything else including 25(= was there and the hostel mailed it all to my home in Oz.

“Great Group Experience”
Stayed in July as part of a group. Got everything organised with Mark the Groups Manager. Simple carefree process, accommodation was comfortable and the location was just great. Stayed in July as part of a group. Got everything organised with Mark the Groups Manager. Simple carefree process, accommodation was comfortable and the location was just great. Right in the middle of all the pubs and bars. Breakfast was tasty and well received by the group. Would highly recommend for any groups going to Galway. Can't flaw in any way.

I made a trip to Galway for a few days and stayed in a 12 bed mix dorm at snoozles on Quay street. The staff where great, rooms clean (granted it was quiet and I was the only one in the room which I didn’t mind), great location right near all the pubs and restaurants, the only thing wrong with the hostel is that the WiFi was not great at all. Other than that it was a nice stay. Thanks snoozles.

Right in the heart of Galway, in a fun, lively location (take earplugs!) Nice hostel, everything seemed fresh & clean. However my room was tiny, no room to move & very hot & stuffy. I booked a 6 bed dorm which I knew was mixed but I ended up in a 4 bed dorm with 3 guys. As a solo female & I really… Más
Right in the heart of Galway, in a fun, lively location (take earplugs!) Nice hostel, everything seemed fresh & clean. However my room was tiny, no room to move & very hot & stuffy. I booked a 6 bed dorm which I knew was mixed but I ended up in a 4 bed dorm with 3 guys. As a solo female & I really didn't feel comfortable in a tiny room with 3 guys & an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was ok but I couldn't find any tea. I think it'd be a fun place to stay if you're going with a group of friends & can have the whole room. It wasn't great for me on my own though, I literally slept there & left as soon as I possibly could.
