“Rest”
It was and will always be fun to be in this. Its a place where you meet new people and make new friends. It's a place of comfort,a place where you can relax, and enjoy. It's a place where dishes are well cooked.

“Good but going ”
I’ve stayed in this hotel the past 8 Christmas’s. It’s still the fabulous hotel it always has been. However, the hotel next door has bought it. I’ve stayed in this hotel the past 8 Christmas’s. It’s still the fabulous hotel it always has been. However, the hotel next door has bought it. You must specify which property you are getting it you get stuck in one or the other. We didn’t have a working ice machine for 5 days during Christmas. The staff is stretched super thin. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is Art Deco. If you want a good view or smoke venture up to the 5th floor and go to the roof patio. The end rooms are the obvious best rooms. This all being said I was told it’s going to be torn down in March. Stay at this gem if you can just be wary of where they put you

“Good budget hotel on the beach”
I stayed at the Richmond with family over Thanksgiving. We selected the hotel based the reasonable price and on its excellent location on mid-beach, near Lincoln Rd, and the fact that it is directly on the beach, with direct access to the beach and “boardwalk” through a rear gate from the pool area… Más
I stayed at the Richmond with family over Thanksgiving. We selected the hotel based the reasonable price and on its excellent location on mid-beach, near Lincoln Rd, and the fact that it is directly on the beach, with direct access to the beach and “boardwalk” through a rear gate from the pool area.This hotel is a dual hotel, with the front desk located next door at the South Seas, and security staff at the Richmond lobby. We arrived late at night, so there was not much staff presence, but the front desk employee was very welcoming, and check- in was a breeze. We had requested separate beds in advance for our 2 girls, but the room they were assigned only had the single queen size. Returning to the front desk, my wife pointed out the error, and they immediately went about assigning the girls a double room. it turned out that the bed in our room was not in the best condition. The following morning, we requested a new room with a firmer bed. Again, the staff accommodated us without hesitation, reassigning both us and our girls to adjacent rooms in another floor. The rest of our stay was pleasant and trouble- free. Both the Richmond and the South Seas have nice-sized pools with plenty of seating and a cocktail bar. We also found the valet service to be reasonably priced and very fast. In sum, the Richmond is a good budget option for guests who don’t mind not having the latest and greatest in room furnishings or electronics. The Richmond is clean, quiet and well run, and the building itself is a fine example of the art deco style. Most importantly, we found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to future stays at the Richmond.
