My best friend and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it was quite nice. Beds were quite comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly and it was quite a pleasant stay. We had trouble with the shower handle, and they repaired it almost immediately, and knocked off some of the price of the room. Terrific!

“Meeting room”

I went to the Clarion for a two day meeting. The meeting room was nice & big. The staff served us well. The coffee was really good. The 1st day we had a catered lunch of cold cut sandwiches & soup. They sandwiches were good but the beef barley soup was especially tasty. There was some audio/visual equipment that we used. One of the microphones was shorting out. Would like our meetings there again.

“Below expectations”

Frist thing upon entering our room, I felt like I was walking through cobwebs. We had two adjoining rooms, and one of the rooms was considerably warmer than the other. Frist thing upon entering our room, I felt like I was walking through cobwebs. We had two adjoining rooms, and one of the rooms was considerably warmer than the other. We couldn't get it to cool down adequately, so we opened the adjoining doors to help cool the room down. Our room would get really cold. There were bobby pins on the floor in our room. In the shower, the ceiling paint was bubbling. Later, my wife found a huge spider on the wall. She's horrified of spiders so she didn't sleep well that night, but I will add that the beds are very comfortable. Now, if you're 6' tall, choose another hotel. The ceilings throughout the hotel are very short and the shower heads MIGHT be 6', so you'll be ducking to take your shower. My 5'10 son walked down the hallways touching the ceiling, and his wrist was bent so he drug his hand on the ceiling. The lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel desperately needs updating. I would never take my family to stay here again unless it's updated and fumigated.

“Clarion? more like a Rodeway”

We use Choice hotels often and I was not impressed that this hotel was a Clarion. It seemed like an old rundown hotel with a new name. Usually Clarion's are nicer. We use Choice hotels often and I was not impressed that this hotel was a Clarion. It seemed like an old rundown hotel with a new name. Usually Clarion's are nicer. The hallways/public areas were a bit dirty and shaggy. No hot breakfast as is the norm for a Clarion. No free drink for Choice members---just a BOGO at the attached restaurant. The pool area was nice, hottub VERY small, rates very high due to high demand weekend. Wish we had stayed at a nicer hotel for 20$ more since we were getting price gouged anyways. Beds were comfortable and front desk staff nice.
