“Lovely Hotel”
We stayed at The James hotel for three nights in October during our first trip to Chicago. The room was clean and generously sized (especially for a city hotel). “Perfect for my first trip to Chicago”
From the greeting at the door to the friendly staff. WOW!! Loved the art work, the friendly staff, and the free coffee. The weather was COLD for my South Texas self, but the staff offered plenty of suggestions. The location couldn't have been better. Not for my credit card thou.

“Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Chicago”
I can't think of any negative remarks about The James for our 3-night stay. The double room was nice, comfortable and clean. Comfy clean bathrooms, nicely working shower, enough storage. “Nice hotel”
The James is a perfect located hotel In the centre (nearby the Magnificant Mile) with clean and big rooms. The interior of the room is modern. Friendly staff and a free drink at the end of the day on Sunday.

“One night Sunday stay”
Thanks for the nice stay; room had all we needed and especially appreciated the kettle for our tea! Previous Comments about noise level may be unwarranted, we had a “City View” room.
