I use hotels and apartment hotels when I travel. I also go to the same places if there is a hotel of the groups I usually stay at. Odalys in France have great locations and very nice flats/buildings. I regret never leaving comments on trip advisor as I don't have that much time but I do let know the managers before leaving a hotel about how good their property is but being on holiday and taking the time for the first time to read and leave comments I am surprised to read such feedback sometimes. I guess people who leave those reviews know nothing about traveling or how the people who welcome work. I have had the chance to speak to amazing and passionate people throughout my various stays. Staff who take time to plan your visits, the good things to see and to know about the city. And start by being nice to them especially when on holidays. If you life is bad at work or outside work then don't go anywhere! Stay at home!! Regarding Odalys Les Felibriges, it's and apartment hotel, if you know about those don't expect 24H reception and be happy of having it open from 8am to 8pm, some of them close for 4H during lunch time and even that is not a problem as you are on holidays!!! The staff there is great and clear with explanations but of course if you don't listen carefully that is your problem, the girls in reception are very sweet and always smiling, know that if you smile and say hello which costs nothing then you'll get a hello back (and that works everywhere, not just in hotels, give it a go). Our flat was very nice and the view on the swimming pool was very much appreciated as it gives a bit of calmness when coming back from a long day of walk! I had the chance also to meet the general manager, a very nice lady who we spoke with for quite a long time. You can feel that she is passionate about her property and is working hard to make it look very nice. Carry on this job and you will be rewarded great Les Felibriges team! And for the people who complain here on Trip advisor, try to travel differently by respecting the others. Especially that when you travel you also represent your country… So try to give a good image.

“Nice hotel”
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchenette area was very handy. The pool was nice and clean with plenty of fun loungers.. The location was great and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and local shops.

But clean and the kitchenette worked well. Bed firm - hotel very quiet. Occasional passing train but nothing too disturbing. Bathroom and separate toilet clean. Handy supermarket about 200m away serving all necessary provisions.

In town for a couple of days, we chose this hotel simply based on price, location, and the fact they accept dogs. We stayed at an Odalys property in Séte, and enjoyed our stay, so we were hoping for the same. We arrived on Christmas eve, and were pleasantly greeted by the receptionist. We were on the 6th floor, and our room was supposed to fit 5 people. I was a bit schoked upon entering, as I found the room to be small, old looking, and had an overall cheap feel to it. Sure, 170 euros for two nights in Cannes is a great deal, but still, I was not impressed. We wanted to open a bottle of wine, but a corkscrew was missing. I went down to ask the receptionist, but the front desk had closed. I thought is was because of Christmas, but we found that to be the case as well the following night. So, if you have business with the reception, make sure to attend to it before they close. This is more of the apartment setting, and not a hotel, so I suppose I won't fault them for that. I didn't check, but I assume there is an emergency number you can dial if needed. The stay ended up being OK. The location is great. Not a fantastic neighborhood, but you are in the heart of Cannes, about a 5 minute walk from the old port, beaches, and all the excitement Cannes has to offer. The Parking situation was a bit tricky, however. We were told our vehicle (VW Touran) was too big for the garage, so we were on our own as far as parking. There is not a ton of parking in the area, and most of it is for a short period (2 hours). So that was a bit of a let down.\ Overall, I would only choose to stay there again if there is absolutely nothing else.
